**Nooner**

So...I'm going to be in Denver next week!  I'm going for a work conference, kind of last minute, but everything fell into place in the last week or so.  I've never been, and I'm super excited.  Denver has always been on my list of "must-visit cities".

I'll also be spending a couple days with a friend of mine from CT who lives out there, but any suggestions on must-see's or things to do?

Let me know if you are up for a mini-GTG, I'm free Tuesday and Thursday evening if you want to grab a drink or dinner.

  • right on!  If you can get to a Rockies game, they are lots of fun.  Highly recommend any micro-brewery.  Where are you staying?

I'd totally be down for a drink Tuesday or Thursday night!  Let me know where you're staying, I'll think of something close by.

  • Awesome!  I'm staying at the Denver Grand Hyatt which appears to be right downtown (I'm looking forward to some shopping at the 16th street mall:).

My friend is actually a manager at the Breckenridge Brewery near Coors Field, so I'm sure I'll be hanging out there a couple of times!  I'll have to check the game schedule.

I'll shoot you a friend request on FB...I'm a FB fan of PLFF but not your friend for some reason (I feel like I missed the Niner Facebooking frenzie at one time or another).

  • sounds good!

If you're around Coors Field, then Wynkoop Brewery is awesome for both food and drinks.

Other great spots for going out - Fado's Irish Pub  and Sing Sing (piano bar), both right by Coors Field.

the Nike store on 16th Street Mall is AWESOME.  There some good shopping on the 16th street mall, but it's better for people watching than actual shopping... but there are some cool little shops and stores.

Apparently the Aquarium downtown is pretty cool but I've never been.
