My Least Favorite Part of Vacation
Ladies, I need your suggestions. I leave for Mexico in one month. I have one swimsuit that I like, but I could use a few more.
As fun as it would be to run into Target and grab anything off the shelf, that won't/can't happen. (I love Target and love their prices, but they hate my big hips/booty!)
I would still like to wear a 2 piece (not tankini), but would like it to be a more "mature" two piece. I hope that translates.
TIA!
Re: My Least Favorite Part of Vacation
I always like Macy's for swimsuits, and Dillards. But I don't know how much you're looking to spend. Also, try TJMaxx, sometimes I have found cute swimsuits there.
I think we all hate buying new swimsuits...what a beating.

They really are. It's crazy. All that money for two little pieces of fabric.
This is where I got my suit and wrap for my HM. It is very expensive but the suits are high quality and I think look and fit so much better than something from say, Target. But the trade off is the price.

Just do it!
Looks like you've got some great rec's already....but I just wanted to add one thing.
I am in your club of big hips/butt. (Seriously... my bottom half is a size 12 and my top is an 8) Before we went to Mexico last month I actually got a really cute suit from Target. It was a Mossimo one with generic black bottoms that actually cover my butt ...and the top was kind of a halter with a tie in the middle that covered more than the typical suit as well. .. so if you haven't already looked this year, don't rule them otu!
HTH!
ETA: No one ever thinks of them for this, but Burlington coat factory also has a huge swimsuit department and great prices.
Tiffany- Thanks! I never thought about Burlington, but I will check them out. I will also give Target a whirl without feeling too old!!
Seriously, if you look up pear shaped in a dictionary, you might see my picture!
...aaand just when I thought I was done suggesting.
I just came from the Dillards Clearance Center in the Irving Mall and they have literally a million swimsuits. 70% off the store price plus an extra 40% off of that.
They are all separates and it would take some time to sort through them all and find the right matching sizes/pieces... but it might be worth it!
Asking a favor: Amazon is blocked at work. Could you post the link here so I can see if I can access it that way?
Sure. Does this take you there?
