I thought finally getting job offers would be a huge relief, but it's brought more stress over which one to choose
....seems like a lot is opening up in he HR field, but most seems to be temp or temp-to-perm, meaning I have to really plan out a game plan....
i just turned down an immediate recruiting offer (temp) b/c i have another offer for more $ & more of the job type (HR generalist + recruiting) that I really want, downside - the latter pos doesn't start until mid may...
Did i make the right choice?? I don't know....had to go with my gut on this one...
Let's just hope to heck that i don't get a big ol' "told you so" from mr. h.
Arghh....i hope i don't kick myself for the decision.
To top that off, I have another company that's a direct hire but they seem to be dragging their feet on when they want to hire.....I can't just lolly gag around & wait..... sorry, just a little frustrated here....
Re: ugh, why can't job hunting be easier....my vent.
I think you did! Mid-May is only a 2 weeks away.
Congrats!
thanks guys
....i think so too. My h is just kinda ribbing on me with...."beggars shouldn't be choosers" deal, since the first one was "immediate".
I think he thinks i'm stalling for not taking that one, but it really was not my first choice...I talked to them b/c i'm not turning down any interviews in this market. I guess I just have to stick to my guns and be happy with my choice.

I agree you did and Mid May honestly is what 2 weeks away? It's not like they said July.
Now the other one that you really like that are dragging honestly why don't you tell them that you were offered this position but you really would prefer to work for them?
It worked for me once
yes, Eden ~ a crystal ball would really be a huge help right now!
Thanks for your feedback ladies, and I actually did let them know I had 2 other offers on the table, and the recruiter i'm working with was "on it" and was pushing a little for some feedback, but the company doesn't seem like they know exactly what they want....they know they need to fill the position yesterday, but they almost seem too busy to commit almost....I know weird, but that pos will be pure recruiting too (and from talking to the hr dir, it sounds a little stressful).
I have a little time to commit to the mid-may job, so we'll see if the other place produces soon...otherwise I'm happy to take the job that my gut is telling me to go with. I loved the people, commute, office space & it's in my price range.... sounds like a no brainer when I write it all out!
