Ok, so I have to wear silver shoes for SIL's wedding. In July. Outside on gravel/grass. I am not good at walking in heels in normal conditions. And I'll be like 26+ weeks pregnant.
I'm thinking of THESE. But maybe they are too casual for a sort of fancy wedding?
As a reminder, this is the dress, but in "riviera blue" and the boys are wearing dark charcoal suits, not tuxes. I kind of think once these are on they will look dressier than off, since you'll probably really only see the silver and a bit of the tan sole under my footsies.
WDYT?
Re: Shoe help
Honestly I thought the ones you showed us on the email chain were better suited for the dress/event. These look way too casual, they also don't look very silver, but it could be my screen etc.
Can you go to DSW/Off Broadway/Macys/Lord and Taylor and try shoes on, might be easier.
I ordered the others but we'll see if they fit. they only had wide and I'm not usually a wide. but they do free return shipping if it doesn't work out.
I just want to be comfortable, and I kind of wonder if anyone will even notice my shoes. hah! we'll be in grass and all that so I bet the part that's not dressy won't show anyway. But we'll see. I have a bday coupon for DSW but I never have good luck there. I might go this weekend though. I want options :-)
This. If you needed to wear heels, you could always have a pair of flip flops for the reception.
