I'm drowning
hey ladies...just popping in to say hello! Sorry I haven't been posting much this week- work is hellish right now. I was already slammed with some huge projects and found out Monday night after a board meeting that we have to cut $50,000 from our operating budget in both May and June to meet bond covenants or our bond holders will have a third party come in and manage the hospital to get it back on track. The Board was going to recommend 5% cuts in wages and benefits across the board but changed their minds before actually saying it. So the last few days have been full of meetings trying to figure out how we're cutting the budget and how we're going to communicate it.
In the middle of all this I jokingly told my sister to get me a job at John Deere (where she works, amazing employer) and she found a job she thinks I'm qualified for and did an official recommendation for me via their internal job center..so the recruiting system wants my application. I would never get it (don't think) but am considering applying "just to see" and to appease my sister. ETA: Not applying, I read the job description closer and realized they need someone with an agronomy/agricultural background- totally not me!
