I know a lot of you are moms already...what do you do for you moms for Mothers Day or mommy's what do the hubbys do for you?
I was planning on doing surprise MD lunch for my mom, MIL and my aunt. And since my grandma can't leave her nursing home bring her food after lunch.
Re: Mothers Day
Nothing fancy. MH usually keeps Mini busy in the morning so I can sleep in, then we'll go out for breakfast, then we just hang out or go shopping or something, then we go have dinner somewhere with reservations so we don't have to wait.
Last year, he was working in CT so I stayed at the hotel with him and we did these things there. It was nice. I can't believe that was a whole year ago!
i like going out to breakfast as our own little family. for the last 2 years, we went to buy my garden stuff after that and came home and planted. not sure if i want a garden this year though-
we'll drop off a gift for mil on the way to my mom's. dh's mom died years ago, and mil is not a mom-figure, but we recognize her as gma to the kids. and because they don't think to ask us what the plans are or to include us in theirs, we do just the drop off.
my mom wants to host a bbq this year and i'm not complaining about not having to make anything
