  • yes and yes. we mostly stay signed into everything at home, too. we're not secretive about anything, really.

  • He doesn't know mine just  because I don't think he remembers them, and it's rare that he needs access. But they're not secrets. He uses the same PW for everything, and I know it.

  • I'm in the same boat...I know every password to his life...he however cares to not remember...i think he would prefer it if computers didn't exist lol

  • Almost exactly what Jen said. I know his. He uses the same password for everything. I've told him mine before, but he never remembers. That being said, I stay logged on to everything on my Macbook, so he could get on there if he wanted to.

  • I use 3 variations of names/#'s so he just has to guess a few times on mine if he can't remember. He also uses a number/name combo so I just guess if it's one I don't know (like comcast or JEA or something I rarely need to get to) and eventually I get it.

  • I'm in line with Sikes and Jhap. DH uses the same password for almost everything, plus I manage a lot of "his" password protected stuff (credit card sites, online banking, etc). I've told him my passwords before but he doesn't remember them.

  • It depends. Moneywise, we have a list of passwords to every account. Some of my personal stuff is probably not challenging based on that list. My email, though, no. I know most of his but I don't think I know his email either.
  • I know his and have told him mine. I doubt he remembers mine but I always forget to log out of facebook and I am always logged into my email so he has access if he needs it.

I managed our bills so if he needs to look at the bank account he will usually asked me for the password. Although he has been told a million times.

  • We don't know each other's passwords. Never really felt the need to. We created a "joint" password that we both know for stuff that we both need to access (bank, credit card, hulu, netflix, papajohns, etc...).

If I do this a magic status appears exclaiming how amazing my DH is.

We know pw's for the most part.

  • We know each other's passwords. He and I both use a word/ number combo so it only tales a try or two to figure out what password goes where.

One of our couple friends does that. If she doesn't log out, there's an update shortly afterwards about how she's lost her pants/loves her pants/has on two pairs of pants/etc.
  • Yes and yes.  I've got nothing to hide.  I have never checked anything of his even though I have the passwords.  I have no reason to.

This.  We both tend to use the same passwords on our personal accounts which makes it easy in case the other has to log-on to look at something or make a payment.  I think there are only a few accounts that I have that have different passwords (my student loans) and those log-in and passwords are written down since I tend to forget them.

  • I know which passwords he uses, but not necessarily which ones go to which account, but its more me not taking the time to know than him keeping them a secret. Same for him with mine. If one of us needs access to an account, the other just gives the password and life goes on.

  • Anything shared (banking, bills, netflix, etc), yes. FB and gmail? Hell no. I don't "have anything to hide" and neither does he, we just respect each other's privacy and that includes email for us.

I'm glad you said this because I was starting to feel a little bit alone.

  • DH knows my password to my laptop and possibly my email.  I had to change my email password recently so he may not know it anymore.  He has a different password for just about every account he has, so I can never remember any of them, even for non-private things like Netflix.
