surgery was today

Alana was such a trooper and was a star patient. She's in a lot of pain and is super crabby so I'm doing my best to keep her comfortable. Lets hope for a speedy recovery!

We had a great experience with the surgery center in Brandon which made the whole process easier.

Re: surgery was today

  • So glad that everything went well. :-) The Pediatric Surgery Center in Brandon is Wonderful. My MIL went there earlier this year (her Dr scheduled her surgery there for who knows what reason) for a surgery on her deviated septum as well as to remove a tumor from the back of her neck. The individuals there were so patient with her so I can only imagine how much more patient they are with worried parents and young children.
  • Glad everything went well!

  • I am so happy to hear that everything went smoothly.  I know it is hard to watch your little one in pain, but know that it is temporary and a minor blip on her emotional radar.  She will not remember any of it after it is over.  Wishing you a speedy recovery, Alana!
  • Great Job, Alana!

    Get better soon!

  • I'm glad everything went well!  I will keep her in my prayers for a speedy recovery!
  • I'm so glad the surgery went well! Poor little girl! I would be crabby too!
