I feel like I'm missing something
I'm watching Extreme Couponing. It's a repeat, but I've never seen an episode.
I just don't understand. Part of the problem is that in my area none of the grocery stores double coupons. Nor do they have a special savings program (like Kroger).
Then it seemed like that guy had like 20 of the exact same coupon. How does he get all those? All my coupons come from the paper, but I can't see him buying 20 papers.
I know that part of the problem is that we have no room to stockpile stuff. But then I also have no reason to stockpile 20 tubes of toothpaste. Or 40 cans of ravioli.
I feel like I'm missing something.
Re: I feel like I'm missing something
I'm withyou tho - I have neither the space nor the desire to stockpile they much shiit.
my latest theory on this is that it's more of a hobby than an actual, practical thing that you or i could do. i mean i'm sure we can pick up tips here or there, but to actually take all that time for the amount of useless crap you obtain is not something you would do unless you found it to be fun.
i also think these people do these big shopping trips with the $1 outcome and then also do other shopping for what they really need. it's a game to them.
