Re: poll: spouse vs. house
I have absolutely no idea. For our registry I pretty much made all the decisions. He had some input, but I had the initial ideas. Having never bought a house or even furniture together I have no idea what he would like.
Although, I don't think I would absolutely hate his choices. It just seems that on most things we have decided on that we run in pretty similar thinking.
We'll find out if/when we ever get a house.
My Profile
Ditto Joe.
No, no, no, no, no, no. H makes no design decisions in our house. The man can't even dress himself without my help.
He picks electronics in our house and I pick everything else. We both like this deal.
If he picked every single thing in our house would be "practical" instead of visually appealing.
I shudder at the thought.
Yes! My H has awesome style with design etc. With all the houses he goes into, he has so many ideas of what he wants for our forever home. I would absolutly love for him to design it.
absolutely not!!! he's good with home renovations, ie...laying tile, hanging drywall, electrical work & all over design etc. BUT not with anything as far as interior paint, decorations or furniture layout...

My Bio
Sure, I don't see why not. He has decent taste.
I know, though, that all of our furniture would be leather - and that isn't going to fly with me.
Bella's Bistro - My Dairy Free Food Blog
NO. I mean, he could probably do alright with color schemes and furniture but he would have all kinds of "crap" all over the walls. I like simple. He likes gawdy.
