I had a fun/productive meeting this morning that was unfortunately interrupted, but I still have very high hopes that everything discussed will go as planned.
I managed to ignore the royal wedding updates until this morning when I caved and looked at pictures of her dress.
I'm starving. I already had breakfast but I could gnaw off my arm I'm so freaking hungry. This is not a good sign. I don't even have random snacks in my office.

I am SO glad it is Friday, but my week is not over til late Saturday. I am working at school til about 1:45, then I have to go home and change clothes before working at my waitress job til 9ish. WHOO. busy busy day ahead. Then, tomorrow is dump day for our township, so we have to get up early to load and unload some junk for them, then work 12-9. I will be SO glad to come home and do nothing Saturday night.
I am hoping to plant most of my vegetable garden on Sunday if the weather holds. Other than that, I don't have any other plans for my day off.
I watched only about 10 minutes of the Royal wedding, when I got up for work, they were leaving the church. I liked her dress, but I definetely agree with the radio person I heard this morning who said she was "underwhelmed" with it. Back to regularly schedule programs now please...
Woohoo for friday! E graduates at 10 this morning my inlaws get into town at 3 and my hubs should have a margarita waiting for me at 5 when I walk through the door (wishful thinking but eh).
Tomorrow we are off to an MS Walk and Lando's spring/graduation program. Then hugeo bbq with the fam. Sunday is the Hottest Chicks in Rock Tour :-)
I got up around 4:30 to watch the wedding. I thought that Catherine looked gorgeous and they did manage to make the ceremony more about them than all the Royal traditions and customs.
I work later today, but for now I think a nap would be good.

Up at 6am sharp to watch the RW!! Loved it, Kate looked gorgeous I for one was glad she didn't over-do it with her dress, she looked stunning and so freaking cute those two!
Spending the rest of my day making class outlines, studying for finals, waiting for shipment's of previously purchased goodies, and hopefully seeing DH at some point today inbetween his day job and moonlighting shift!

Happy Friday! Today is Starbucks Friday for me. I used to have a BAD Starbucks habit but have limited to once during the work week. Tonight we're going to Johnny Carrino's for $1 Corona night...whoo hoo!
Busy weekend ahead with two days left of training. Since I'm Mexican we have to celebrate one of our favorite holidays...Cinco de Mayo. Sadly, it's just an excuse to drink, but any reason to drink is good for us. We're heading over to familys on Saturday night. I'll probably make some enchilada's or something else to eat. I also have alumni day at UCSC to attend tomorrow afternoon. It will be nice to be back on campus.
I didn't catch any video of the Royal Wedding but I did see photos of it. I agree, Kate looked gorgeous. Her dress was so beautiful and I feel bad because she's probably a size -2

Morning! Busy day at work, and I may wind up working late which sucks considering every other day this week was uneventful and this is the one day I'd really like to be able to go home at a decent time. I have a million things to do cleaning-wise to get the house ready for a guest this weekend. Sigh. If Jeff gets home before me, he can get started on some of it, at least.
I'm exhausted but it's a nice day and I may walk over to Starbucks later if time permits. Today is a weird day because I'm busy but I'll have a lot of down time waiting for experiments, and it's frustrating that I can't make them go faster to make the day go shorter!
Yay, Friday! I'm tired too, but not because of the RW, as I didn't partake. I stayed up late baking like a fiend. 72 cupcakes and 36 (giant!) cookies. These cookies are so big, I could only bake 4 per sheet at a time, so baking all 36 took forever. I hope the whole thing turns out well.
Looking forward to my conference next week (leaving Sunday afternoon) as a nice break from how crazy work has been, but of course I'll miss H and the puppy.
I scheduled an appointment with the Costco flooring people for next Friday, and I'm super excited about it. I've been waiting since we bought the house in summer 2009 to redo the floors, and with the wedding in our rearview mirror, it's getting done very soon! Plus there's an extra 10% off, which is great. We'll do wood in most of the house, then redo the carpet in two of the bedrooms. Our master bedroom carpet is fine, so we'll just leave it.
Yay Friday! Even though Friday hasn't turned out that great. Greg called me this morning and his truck didn't start. The good thing we were a 1 car family (his truck) for almost a year so thankfully we now have another car.
We don't have to work tomorrow. We are going to a friends wedding and it is suppose to be a beautiful day. Other than that I think we are having a quiet weekend. Unlike last weekends last minute trip to the Keys.

I have to confess that after my complaining yesterday about the Royal Wedding, I woke up and watched this morning. Well, actually, what happened was that my H set his alarm for 5am and woke up to watch it. I woke up at 6 shocked that he was up watching, and at that point Kate was pulling up to Westminster Abbey, so of course I had to watch! But I still stick to the fact that I'm sick of the insane coverage of every.single.detail.
Anyway...nice, sunny day here. I'm just counting down til 5:00. Or maybe 3 or 4 if I'm lucky. Watch out weekend, here I come!
