I keep staring at fivethirtyeight.com
I am obsessed. I need it to be Wednesday for my sanity's sake.
Re: I keep staring at fivethirtyeight.com
I love that site.
I need it to be Wednesday too. I've actually made myself light headed today. I'm going to be in freak out mode until like 9 pm tomorrow.
I think we're all going to wake up later this week and wonder WTF to do with ourselves. Seriously.
I wonder how much work productivity is going to go up. How many more peaceful dinner conversations there will be....we're all going to be in election withdrawal.
I keep drinking coffee, I'm on cup three today, and I can't really stop. I get a cup, stare at 538.com, try to work on this budget, get more coffee, stare at electoral map again, etc. etc.
It doesn't help that we're testing out new machines in the office so we have like 4 different machines going and I have to try THEM ALL!
I've been working from home this past week, which has not been good for my concentration. I cannot wait until this is all over.
Fivethirtyeight is total crack. Every time there is good news, I get upset that it is getting my hopes up, and every time there is bad news, I freak. But yet, I can't stop looking.
lol, have you seen this piece on anxious liberals?

Anything you can achieve through hard work, you could also just buy.
Thankfully, 95% of my company is at our annual meeting in San Antonio. I didn't go b/c of my back, but it's turning out to be a blessing. I would freak if I weren't home for the election!
We'll be in VA until 7pm... I'm sure we'll be listening rabidly to NPR on our drive back. I'm hopeful we'll be back in our MD 'hood before anything big is announced....
ITA. I think I'm going to be shocked at how much extra space I have in my brain once it is no longer consumed with tracking down the latest election news. I honestly cannot wait for this damn election to be over.
