A group of girls and I are looking to go dancing somewhere around town. We prefer a 21 and up type scene not 18 and up. We are all over the place in the metro detroit area so we arent set on one side of town. TIA!
Re: Places to go dancing?
A lot of people love going to Boogie Fever in Ferndale and it's sort of in a middle spot I guess. We went so much a while back that we really burnt ourselves out on it but it was fun while it lasted.
There are a couple places in Fountain Walk in Novi -- The Liquor Store (also has a mechanical bull if you're so inclined), and I think there is a place upstairs from Lucky Strike that we really liked (it's been several years, though, so it may be different now).
I liked Boogie Fever too, although if you've never been there before, you should be aware....it plays mostly flashback music (disco, etc), and can tend to have an older crowd. I liked it a lot because I could dance with my girls without worrying too much about drunk guys swarming all over us. But if you're looking for a younger crowd, it may not be the best place. (disclaimer, I have only been there once)
HTH!
