Such sad news re: the tornadoes
I have a good friend who is a photographer in Alabaster, AL. She lost a client in the tornadoes yesterday. Steph had just photographed her son's birth seven weeks ago as well as the newborn session. The client's order had just come in

Thankfully the baby was found safe but the dad was also seriously injured. She also had several clients who lost everything in Tuscaloosa - houses, cars, everything completely gone including one family (former Pats player) who was supposed to have their 1 year session this week at their house that no longer exists. I just cannot imagine the devastation.

I sat there last night watching the live webcast of the Birmingham news as the tornadoes went over her town, so so terrifying. Hug your family and tell them you love them!!!
Re: Such sad news re: the tornadoes
I may just be emotional from PMS this week but I can't stop welling up with tears everytime I hear another person's story of loss. Pam I'm so sorry to hear about Dan's cousins, that's so sad. Amy, your friend's story just makes me keep crying.
Fortunately, so far anyway, everyone I know in Alabama is ok. Waiting to hear from a few other folks about their extended families though. A very good friend is a recruiter for the Univ. of Alabama (and an alum) and she's at a college fair today just crying, she can't stop.

It is unbelievable. I have a friend who used to live down there and have been hesitant to call her to find out how her friends are from that area. I just don't want to hear news from friends hurting from loss anymore... it is just too much to take these days. It's just so sad.
