FFFC

Flame Free Friday Confessions-

feel free to post

Mine- I am beyond obsessively checking for my semester grade which was due yesterday at 4:00, and I need to "successfully complete" to take the next course which starts Tuesday. My Professor is crazy, and I have no idea how I did on anything so I am freaking out!

I am also freaking out because my SIL is graduating tomorrow, and there is no established plan for how things are going to go: meeting time, place, etc.

Haha, I'm little OCD about making sure things are organized, I guess.

Also, I'm pissed at DH for loosing his glasses after only 2 months of having them. I did not want us to spend money on replacing them...

  • This is a more "don't you hate it when..."

I get really annoyed when some of the weirdos in my office will be talking to me and I will say something like.....

"Bob (a current employee) is on his way here for an interview" (meaning he will be interviewing a potential new hire

then the coworker will say "What position is he interviewing for?" (meaning BOB is looking for a new position)

I will say "No, he is interviewing so and so for this position"

they will say "oh I see the joke was too subtle for you"

NOOOOOOOOOO  I am not stupid, I understood what you were saying, but it isn't funny so I didn't laugh or play into it.  So sorry I didn't say "he is on his way here to CONDUCT an interview".... dude we are just talking, I didn't realize I need to be so precise and formal.

  • I just tried to feed my baby a dog treat.

Yea, it's been a rough week over here. No, she didn't actually lick or touch it.

  • I have one.

I'm in a friend's wedding in July and I really don't want to be in it anymore. I hardly talk to her, she's being a major bridezilla and she insists on having an engagement party in June. I tried telling her that usually people have engagement parties right after they get engaged (which in her case was LAST February) and her response was "well no one said we had to do everything in any kind of order." Indifferent She is crazy. For realz.

Is she having a shower too?  Sounds like a gift grab!

Yes. The bridesmaids are throwing her a shower June 5 and the bachelorette party is June 3. Her son's 1 year birthday party is May 21, so to throw an engagement party in there is completely absurd. It does sound like a gift grab and I won't be attending the engagement party if she has one.

Yea, I laughed my butt off when I realized what was happening. I'm just relieved she didn't try to lick it, I would have felt so bad :)

  • I have one... We have had a girls weekend planned for a few months, to Vegas in June.. and I was really excited about going and getting away. Now I am not sure i am going to go, first my fault I know but me and another friend dragged our feet and airfare is now so EXPENSIVE...with flights now almost $600 I don't know if I can afford another $400 or $500 for spending money. My one friend has the weekend planned with hitting nightclubs and going to shows which might be out of my budget too. So I might bail and I think my girlfriends are going to be so pissed at me.. Yes I am that friend that waits to the last minute to bail on things...
