This afternoon, I'm heading out of work early and driving up to Maine
! I'm picking DH up at the Portland Airport and I haven't seen him in almost 2 weeks... then we're meeting up with Sil, BIL, FIL and their uncle for dinner. They are going to a concert (I gave up my ticket because I'm exhausted) and I'll drive up to Auburn and sleep.
Saturday- we're driving up to Sugarloaf for lunch at The Bag! I haven't been to the loaf in 10 years and I've been dying for their food for ever... so we're going. Then dinner with the ILs-- lobster
Sunday- meeting up with some local anniversary board ladies in Portsmouth for lunch.
Busy weekend of food!

My parents are visiting this weekend. Should be here late this afternoon. Haven't seen them since Thanksgiving. We're getting Big G's for dinner. yum!
We're making the big announcement tonight, since the ultrasound went well the other day! I put a copy of the u/s pic with Baby ____, due 12/20/11 and I put it in the smallest of 3 nested Christmas boxes with red tissue paper on top. It will be so fun to see them open it!
Other than that we'll probably hang out around the house. I haven't been feeling well all week, so not sure I'll be up for antiquing, day trips/tourist stuff like we normally go do when they come up...so we'll see. I think my dad is going to help me with my garden though....he likes to have projects he can help us with when he comes up.
YAY WEEKEND!!!
Tonight: Manning a table for my alma mater at a college fair, then driving up to Maine to see DH and family for the weekend and have lots of Fisherman's Festival fun!
Tomorrow: Scooting down to Boothbay from Woolwich and enjoying the festivities, tug o' war, trap hauling, fish fry & rock the dock! Can't wait to see family & friends and it looks like the weather might hold out! Anyone thinking about heading down, let me know and maybe we can meet up!
Sunday: Brunch with friends, attending the blessing of the fleet on a friend's boat and then heading back down to Newport.
DH is deciding whether or not to go back to Woods Hole for the night or come down to Newport, since he has to come back down in the morning anyway. Hoping he decides to come home for the night so we can have a little extra quality time before one of his last trips out to sea (!!!).

Tonight: engagement party at the W hotel.
Tomorrow: make baby shower present in the morning, attend baby shower in the afternoon. Probably hang out at home with MH in the evening, if he can take a break from studying for finals.
Sunday: errands, cleaning, baking, work out.

My weird illness is acting up this morning but if I feel better by evening, Matt and I will go out, and if I don't, we will stay in, lol.
Tomorrow my great-uncle and a bunch of other relatives from my mom's side will be in Maine so I'll be at my folks' house visiting with them.
Sunday hopefully feeling well enough to go for a short run, clean house, do laundry, and see my favorite dudes.
Tonight- No plans. Probably just the usual dinner, hanging out and relaxing.
Tomorrow- Going to Beverly, MA to visit friends for the morning. Then hanging out at home in the afternoon/evening. Maybe a bike ride with Eli in the afternoon.
Sunday- Going for a run, then no plans other than meeting a friend and her daughter at the playground in the afternoon.
Hopefully it will be a nice, sunny, relaxing weekend!

No idea to what is in store for me when I get home
Today: I'm taking a half day. The troupe has a gig tonight at the USM multcultural festival and I thought I needed leave early from work. I don't, so I'm taking that time to run home and get ready and then go bellydance for all the kids at James' daycare! I'm so excited... and I hear they are too!
Tomorrow: Ummmmm....
Sunday: Ummmmmm.... take 2. At some point there will be grocery shopping and sending the boy out back to run around like a loony.
I had planned to go to book club tonight, but both Marcus and I have nasty colds, so we're going to stay home and not get anyone else sick. I'm going to pick up some pizza I think. We're not doing anything for our anniversary because we leave for the Bahamas in a week, very excited! This weekend we're taking down our rotten picket fence and taking it to the dump.

today: working then headed to get taylor from daycare; then we are going grocery shopping, kohls, sams club ....good times
tomorrow: headed to bar harbor to have T's 1 year pictures taken by a friend of mine. So glad it will be nice...i've put it off for the past few weekends because of the rain. We will probably end up in bangor before we head home and maybe there is a margarita in my future!!
sunday: laying very low! I know she'll be tired and so will I so I might make chicken alfredo lasagna early and then nap.
Today: Going for a walk on my lunch - I hate being stuck at a desk when it's nice out. Later I'm driving up to Portland to spill the beans to my supervisor and possibly boss (since it's a sunny Friday I'm going to assume he is not in today). It's been so easy to keep it a secret when I only see my boss once a month but it's time to share the news. Just hoping he doesn't have a heart attack when he figures out I'll be on maternity leave at a less than convenient time.
Tomorrow: Yard work in the morning, meeting with the guy that is going to help us finish our upstairs (finally), and making a few purchases to set that into motion. Then we're headed to the Sox game at night.
Sunday: More yard work and planning for some sort of landscaping and where our garden will go. We'll see how much of this gets done aside from the Red Sox game. Priorities.
My brother was based out of Woods Hole when he was in the coast guard!
Zero plans. I know we want to get to work on our lawn and flower gardens so that will be a good portion of it. Then DH wants to go get his motorcycle out of storage so we'll probably do that and go for a short ride. All of this could change though!

Nice! Their boat technically hails out of Woods Hole, but due to the fact that it was overbuilt and the entrance to Woods Hole is somewhat dicey, they spend 99% of their time down here in Newport. I think they only pull into WH a few times a year in order to keep the MA folks happy. Ah, government logic!

Tonight: Was supposed to host book club but that has been canceled due to lack of attendees so DH, DD and I will have an appetizer and cupcake feast for dinner followed by a walk with the doggie.
Tomorrow: Gymnastics with Ridley in the morning followed by a trip to SoPo to make a few returns at Macy's, pick up some pre-assembled meals from Make Thyme for Dinner, and purchase a few under-the-bed storage bins (and I am sure a lot of other stuff) at Target. I may begin watching the wedding festivities on Tivo in the evening.
Sunday: Grocery store followed by the gym. I also need to do some work on the article I am submitting for publication with my thesis advisor.
So so so so glad it's finally Friday. Tonight I'm working until 11. Tomorrow I have a hair appointment at 10:30, there's an open house at a property I really like at 11:30, plus there is a crazy sale at JC Penney that I feel like I can't afford to miss... plus I have a coupon for 30% off my entire purchase at GAP and Banana Republic factory stores so I may scoot up to Freeport for that, and ultimately I'm meeting 4 of my girlfriends at The Hilton on Commercial Street in Portland at 3:30 to kick off a combined birthday celebration for 3 of us who have birthdays within a week of today and a going away party for a friend who just took a job in CT. We're headed out to the Old Port for the night. Crazy, but fun.
Sunday there are 3 more open houses I'd like to attend, and I may be having brunch with DH, my mom and my brother at The Harraseekett. Lots to do, but it should be a good time.
Today - craziness, so I'm glad it's almost bed time

wow...sounds like everyone has a jam-packed weekend, for the most part
yesterday DH's parents and brother got into town, so we saw them for dinner and spent the day with them today...first ride over to Peak's Island since the fall...reminded me of why we endured the winter...it was gorgeous...followed by a ridiculously huge, delicious, but way-too-late dinner at The Grill Room
tomorrow it's back to work for me and more eating with the in-laws following
they leave Sunday and then DH and I are headed down to NY to visit family and friends until Thursday! it was a last-minute decision, so I'm excited, but exhausted already thinking about it
also, some exciting news...DH had an interview yesterday and they called today to offer him the position tentatively over the phone! he has to send over some references and stuff, but I am soooo excited and relieved and a million other things...he knew it went well, but he didn't expect to hear back sooo soon and we were under the impression that there were more rounds in store...so, we're actually not telling anyone yet until he gets that offer letter in the mail, but I had to tell someone...I know it's not as exciting as everyone's baby announcements, but it's something!
