usually i always get positive ratings on my etsy. i've probably had 900 or so orders between my 3 shops. once i got a negative and the girl wrote she never received her package. she also wrote this on another person's etsy the same day so i think their might have been something going on with her mail. she was from australia.
otherwise, every other rating has been positive. until today. i have been working with this girl, also from australia, on her wedding invitations. they turned out beautifully and i mailed them yesterday. i have provided impeccable service and everything has been going great with her. i provided so much consulting on these invites so she got exactly what she wanted. i designed a custom piece for them, and changed the design to her specifications. all with a smile and "no problem!" truly, she's been ecstatic with everything and from my end everything went great.
so today she gave me a neutral. wtf? she gave positives to other people she has dealt with, so i know she knows how to give positives. i am baffled. she didn't leave a comment so i don't even know why. she hasn't received the invites yet. i emailed her and said i noticed the neutral and was curious why, as i wasn't aware she was unhappy at all in the process and i want to make sure i can make changes if need be for future clients. i hope she writes me back.

That would be really frustrating. Especially since she hasn't even gotten the invites to see how she likes them in person.

Sounds like those down under etsy clients are tough cookies!!
Maybe ask her to change once she receives the product and has a chance to approve them?
