This is semi gross and funny
My co-worker clips her nails a lot at work. This time I heard a "clip" and I big long-ass nail fell smack down right in front of my mouse. It totally flew right over our 4ft divider.
Re: This is semi gross and funny
As a reformed former offender:
I never knew the noise bugged someone til a co-worker asked me to stop.
And I did it at work because I never realized my nails were too long until they started hitting the keys on my keyboard. It drove me CRAZY and I'd have to do something. Now I go to my car to do it.
I think shes like lala - a "strong nailed" person who needs to clip their nails so they can type. I have weak nails too so this is not something I have to do to work.
It does happen overnight, I swear. One day fine. The next, auggggghhhh!
I have the same problems with LLL. I file her nails one day and the next they are scratch-inducing again. Drives me crazy.
And even if one's nails don't grow as fast as mine, I could easily see forgetting about it once you get home. But I have a memory like that.
Either way, I agree about going out of ear shot.
LLL - that explanation actually makes sense. Thanks for sharing.
As for my gross co-worker story, I once walked in on a partner (I'm an attorney) clipping his nose hairs at his desk. His office door was wide open.
