Vacuum that doesn't shoot dust everywhere?
Currently, we have a cheap Eureka vacuum. I don't like it at all. I
always dust before I vacuum, but I have noticed recently that when I
vacuum it looks like I didn't even dust at all, so I basically wasted my
time. I guess most would probably just say "vacuum first and you
won't have to worry about it", but I vacuum a couple times a week and so
one way or another, dust will end up quickly coating our furniture
again. It is not a lot of dust that gets on the furniture, but still
more than I want. DH and I both have mild to moderate allergies, so we
would like to eliminate the whole dust shooting everywhere situation
anyway. I know Dyson is supposed to be really great for those with
allergies. I was considering one, but I just can't afford one right
now. Any other vacuums that you would suggest? I like bagless, upright
vacuums if that helps.
Re: Vacuum that doesn't shoot dust everywhere?
I was looking at getting a Dyson, and my sister recommended the Shark Navigator. It's awesome. I now have one and my mom (who has a dog and cat) also got one and we all love it.
It's way cheaper than a Dyson, and I would bet it cleans just as well. I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon - I believe it was around $135 or so.
I've heard good things about Shark, like PP said. I want to look into purchasing their steaming system eventually.
We have a Dyson, and it's amazing. Just wanted to let you know that at our Bed Bath & Beyond, they let us use a 20% coupon on it. That, plus saved up BBB giftcards, and voila! We were able to buy a Dyson and only spend about $100 out of pocket.
