Door County, Wisconsin ?
My mom and I are planning a short trip for this summer. Has anyone been there and have a suggestion on where to stay? TIA

My mom and I just took a short vacation there last year and we stayed at the Village View Inn. We were looking to keep our stay budget friendly and this definitely fit the bill. It is owned by a retired couple and the staff is all super friendly and helpful. On our last day there, we had car troubles and the staff went out of their way to help us. The owner even drove in to take a look at our truck to try to help us out so we wouldn't have to get it towed.
The Village View certainly isn't the most high class place around, but we were so busy doing other activities that we were only at the Inn to sleep. So if you aren't looking for fancy, I'd recommend it!
