Refurbished Vacuums - Need Opinions

I don't want to spend a ton on a vacuum. Has anyone on here purchased a refurbished one and if so, what do you think?

Thanks!

Re: Refurbished Vacuums - Need Opinions

  • I haven't bought a refurbished vacuum, but as the daughter of a vacuum salesmen, that's all I've had to deal with.

I would say it really depends on the brand. If it's a strong brand and a quality machine, refurbs would work just as well as a brand new one.

If you have an Aerus Electrolux in your area, I've used them FOREVER and they've always worked better than anything you can buy at Lowes or Target.

    Good luck!

  • We bought our Dyson two years ago, refurbished. It still works perfectly.
