Experience with Dr. Bissell
I know a lot of people here go to the practice of Drs. Bissell, Pham, Santiago, and Agarwal, so I wanted to let you know my experience there.
I saw Dr. Bissell last Tuesday. I was having unusual bleeding and wanted to be seen right away, so I took the first appointment that I could get. It was horrible. Dr. Bissell never even looked at me when she spoke to me. Before she even examined me, she immediately told me I was at high risk for uterine cancer and needed to have further tests. She did not explain to me anything else that could cause my symptoms until I specifically asked her. She did not explain what she was doing during the exam, and was really rough. Hands down, the worst gyn exam I have ever had.
She wrote me orders for tests and didn't sign them, so I had to call and get new orders. I had a question about the scheduling of the tests, and the office said they would call right back and they didn't return the call until late the next day.
I had the tests done on Friday and there is no obvious sign of cancer. I have to have a biopsy done to be sure, but things look fine. I'm looking for another Dr. to do the biopsy.

My OB/Gyn specializes in gynecological cancers if you want his name. He is actually in Bethesda but works at Sibley. He is very direct but he always gives you plenty of information and time to ask questions. PM me if you want his name.
