Hi!!! Missed you guys :-)
So much has happened since my last time here - the Wedding, the terrible tornadoes and yesterday, the death of Bin Ladin. Man!
Savannah was glorious: the city is simply beauty personified. And we're both history buffs, so we thoroughly enjoyed learning so many new things about its history while we were there. The weather was perfect and pristine the entire week, and we hit the beaches in Hilton Head and Tybee for a couple of days as well - a very sweet Anniversary vacation indeed :-))

Our weekend was good...I went to the Melting Pot Friday night for fondue and girls' night out for my birthday (belatedly). Saturday we had a 3-ring circus going on in our house...sprinklers got installed on our lawn, the plumber was there, the floor guy was there to make a repair to our kitchen tile (long story!!) and the gas man stopped by bc one of the plumbers smelled gas. Luckily, it was nothing, but it was a crazy day nonetheless. Yesterday, my parents came over for dinner and we went to the garden store to start looking at plants for the backyard.
Hope everyone had a happy weekend! I'm back at work today after 10 days of vacation, so I'm not a happy camper!!!!

This weekend we decorated and furnished our patio (FINALLY - we had just a table and chairs + a hammock for the longest time). It is so homey and relaxing we pretty much did nothing but sit out there most of the weekend once we were done.
We also took Bruce for his first trip to the dog park. We've been nervous because he can play a little rough, but he did AWESOME. He played so nice with all the other dogs and he ran to the door to greet every single person and dog that arrived. I was a proud mama and we're going back soon

@Rach: Yay for Bruce!! Dog parks are a lifesaver so it's good to know you can take him back there!
My weekend was okay. Friday I drove out to my parents. My dad grilled out so it was the first time this year for me
Saturday I went to some garage sales with my mom and vegged most of the afternoon since it was rainy and ucky. Sunday I went to church with parents and then to my niece's first communion party.
Yesterday morning Sadie hurt herself trying to jump up on the bed I was sleeping on. So now she won't climb stairs or jump up on anything
I hope she gets better soon!

I was off from work for spring break - I didn't go anywhere. We are going to FL in 2 weeks tho so they'll be pics then
I am so glad that you had a great vacation and that everything was beautiful! I definitely miss Savannah and Tybee!
My weekend was fun, we had a blast suprising my friend from college on her 25th birthday. She was sooooo shocked. We partied the night away, went to be about 4 and got up at about 8 to drive back home (from Long Island to where i love...about 2 1/2 hours). Sunday I was definitely paying for it hangover wise, and spent the rest of the day in bed watching a Project Runway Marathon!

Well, Friday night I made supper for Jeff and his cousin, watched some TV, then went to bed. Saturday I woke up at 6 am (ugh, my nieces still have me on their schedule from last weekend), so I watched Easy A on Netflix. I really liked it! Then I went and worked out, then shopping, lunch, supper, and movie date with my BF, Chelsy. It was AWESOME! I found some great clothes and shoes for the trip, so I'm excited! Things were definitely fitting better! : )
Yesterday, since Chelsy stayed at our house Saturday night, we got up and watched some Grey's on Netflix while Jeff slept in. Then the three of us went and got Chinese and dropped Chels off at home. We then went to Menard's (like Home Depot) to get a cute little outdoor table/chairs/umbrella set that was on sale, but they were all sold out...poo...so, I just came home, read a book, took a nap and watched some TV.
I did get a phone call last night that my sister from California has decided to move her family back to Nebraska this summer! I'm SO excited, I can't even tell you! I get to see Samie and Ethan whenever I want (they will be up in Omaha where my other sister and my grandparents are). They haven't told anyone outside of family, so no Facebook mentioning about it for now.
Our weekend was rather boring. Friday nite we stayed in. Saturday I ran errands in the morning while DH was working then we did a little cleaning before my BFF came over. Sunday was church, naps and dinner.
This is going to be a crazy week. Tonight I am going to the Cards game. Thursday is Cinco de Mayo and I am prob going out with my BFF. Then I really want to do groccery shopping Thursday night too yet. Saturday we are taking my car in to have it worked on and I may or may not go shopping with MIL and SILs.
I want to go to Savannah SOOO bad!!! My cousin lives about an hour from there and he said Dublin is boring so if we ever come visit he'll meet us in Savannah.

Weekend was good. We bowled with our friends on Saturday & had a blast. The kids managed to get 4 games in; we bowled 3. Pizza for dinner, too.
Sunday I had lunch at this great place downtown, then my mom came over for dinner. We grilled steaks.
I just looked through your pictures, looks like you had a great time!! I love Savannah's riverwalk, my family stopped there often on our way home from Daytona. Mostly for the Candy Kitchen and a restaurant for She-Crab Soup (I forget the name of the place).
I had a nice weekend, Friday we grilled some chicken and relaxed for the evening. Saturday I did some shopping early in the day and then got my afghan and pillow project finished!! I took pics so I'll have to upload them in the am and show everyone. We watched the Flyers get trashed :-( not so fun. Sunday I got DH to take off half of the cabinet hardware in our kitchen and I scrubbed it clean! I will have to get him to take the rest off later this week and finish the rest b/c it looks amazing comparatively! I love cleaning!
