My brother is a complete idiot. Won't vote.
He claims his absentee ballot never showed up, then claimed that he "left a message" for the secretary of state to see where it was. But he's lying. Don't come stay at my house, use my computer, and leave up your own message board and not expect me to read it!
He did a whole post on how he's decided not to vote. His vote isn't necessary since he "knows Obama will win." This kid could have voted in either one of two battleground states: Colorado and Nevada! He just moved to CO from NV and could have basically picked which state he wanted, but instead he does nothing.
Seriously though, I think he may be mentally disturbed! He completely believes that civilization will end "very soon" (so soon, perhaps, that this election "doesn't matter??"). If he were religious, I'd peg him as an "end times" guy. Maybe he's a 12-20-12 guy?
So frustrating, though! He has opinions on everything. He is walking proof that Obama supporters are idiots, too.

Ugh. One of my coworkers is the child of immigrants who just got their citizenship. This is their first election ever. Hearing their story reminds me not to take my right to vote for granted.
You should remind him that there are races besides president to vote for. And then force him to look at pictures of the suffragettes and the civil rights workers who fought for the right to vote.
