Bathtub just won't come clean
So I moved into my apartment a year ago and have been cleaning the shower/bathtub area roughtly twice a month since I moved in. Despite my best efforts and extreme scrubbing the bathtub and tiles just WON"T COME CLEAN! It's driving me nuts, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a cleaning product that will cut through soap scum and whatever else builds up in a shower.
Thanks!

Comet, a scrub brush and a ridiculous amount of hard scrubbing.

I got something that sounds like this, but I don't think it was made by Mr. Clean. but it sure looks like a magic eraser. I think it is called a soap scum remover. I had no idea my issue was soap scum. The tub just looked dingy no matter how hard I scrubbed and no matter what I used. then I tried these soap scum eraser things and I couldn't believe the crap that come off my tub. it was amazing!!!! and it sparkled. found them at target.
I went through this issue a while back. I can't even remember what exactly worked, but I know it involved a lot of elbow grease.

I use 409 and a sponge on the scrubby side. It works well for me.
Commet is also good. I just don't like how it is hard to rinse off. (If you don't have a detatchable shower head.)
