I had some significant bleeding again this AM (of course it would be on the day my doctor's office is closed!), so they had me come in to see the other doctor, who couldn't find anything immediately wrong. He sent me over to the hospital to L&D for monitoring, a NST and an ultrasound. Thank goodness Kyle's ship isn't taking off until tomorrow, and he was already on his way down to Newport from Woods Hole! He met me @ the hospital, they monitored me for 2 hours, and I was given the all clear to leave and come back @ 2 for my u/s. I got the same u/s tech I had before, and she was awesome as always. As per regs, she couldn't tell me anything during the actual scan, but we did get a great look @ Sprinkles, and she assured me that if anything was really wrong, they would not have let me leave. So, now we're in a holding pattern and waiting for the u/s results, which we should have tomorrow, and figure out what is goin' on with this bleeding. Never a dull moment!
On the positive side, I got a call back from the doctor I was hoping to have while in Maine, and she's agreed to take me on as a patient, yay!
Re: Adventures in L&D!
Dear Sprinkles-
Please stop scaring your mommy and daddy. K thanks
Love your friend in Maine (the place you will be born this summer)

Ditto what Kristiy said, Sprinkles you need these next few weeks to "cook" no early arrivals please and thank you!
Fun times, huh?
They are right, you would have gotten the lock down if something was wrong, or if they had no clue.
Hopefully, things will settle down and I'm so glad that Kyle was able to be there and the ME Dr is taking you on!!
This!
I'm glad you got to get a good look at her...just wish it was under better circumstances!
I think a stern Nestie talking-to has gotten Sprinks' attention, as things seemed to have calmed down, thanks ladies!
Keeping my fingers crossed for the next eleven weeks that shenanigans are kept to a minimum, although if my doctor recommended I stop working a little earlier than anticipated, I wouldn't exactly be heartbroken.
Shuga- do you have a feeling it's a "she"??? Very funny, because I bought a very "she" piece of baby-wear on a whim last night...

After seeing your bump I keep leaning towards she...Can't wait to find out
That seems to be the way a lot of people are leaning these days... guess we'll find out if it was worthwhile to buy the little dress in 11 weeks or so, just don't tell Kyle!

I can't even remember what I guess, but it seems girls like to pull these "early" games whereas boys are pretty content inside
