I have a final interview with the CEO of the company I'm interviewing with Wednesday. At this point, I've met with the Director I'd report to, the VP she reports to and the COO. They've all been fabulous interviews, and very conversational. But I've gotten the feeling that this one will be much more of a hard line Q&A.
So my question is, what questions do I ask him during the "do you have any questions for me" portion of the interview? So far, I'm thinking:
-What do you look for in potential employees? or What qualities do you consistently see in your top performers?
-Asking about the company's brands - which are the most stable, which need the most marketing attention, which are the highest volume, etc.
-What are the company's most important current initiatives and partnerships?
What else? Any ideas?

I don't know how big the company you are applying to work for is but in my space people often ask what the company is doing to give back as far as corporate social responsibility or sustainability efforts are concerned. You can also ask about employee engagement around these issues of sustainability and CSR such as volunteering opportunities, etc.
What was the CEOs background? Did they form the company or did they get hired into it? You could ask about what either drove them to start the company or why they chose to lead this particular company.
These are questions I would probably ask at any level, but would still work at the CEO level.
What do you like most about working here? (or in this case, what do you like most about leading this company?)
What makes you the most proud of this company? of your employees?
Good luck!

What type of company? What type position are you interviewing for?
I'd start off with high level questions---what is the1, 3, 5 10 year goals for your company? How to you plan to meet these goals. What's your plan on building an effective workforce? How do you remain competitive? What do you look for when hiring and building a staff?
