Taboo
Is anyone else watching this? The new episode is on now and I'm just always amazed. Right now they're covering a man who has infantalism, he consciously role plays as a baby within his home as a way to cope with the abuse that he suffered as a child. He goes out into the world as an adult man and works, then when he goes home he goes into what he calls "baby mode." He considers it to be his form of stress relief from every day adult stresses. I just find it to be so interesting.

I would feel the same way as you, but that's because we're lucky enough to not have a distorted perspective on ourselves in that way. The woman in Paris with anorexia made me cry, 53lbs...I just can't grasp it but the fact that she's working hard to get well, has written a book and posed for that billboard against anorexia in the fashion industry is amazing.
You definitely should watch it, it's so interesting because there are so many disorders and ways of life out there that I'm not aware of. It's very eye opening.
I know, I am very thankful that I don't have a disorder like that. It is so painful to watch but so very interesting to see how others view themselves. Oh the 53lbs absolutely made me tear up! It broke my heart to see her go through that. I really wish society was more accepting of average size and plus size women. I think it is disgusting how the media gets all up in arms if an actress puts on a little weight, and unfortunatly some women feel they have to live up to that standard. It's awful
I've seen a couple of Taboo episodes that I just couldn't tear myself away from... sadly I missed this one.
Also, I highly suggest My Strange Addiction... talk about something you just can't stop watching!
