Monterey Nestie Need your help
I am wanting to take my daughter to the Aquarium this month for her birthday in lieu of a third birthdya party. Recommend a nice reasonably priced hotel and resturant to take her out to dinner. Also a good bakery to order her a cake as well.

The Monterey Hotel on Alvarado is a great location for ~$120/night. You can walk pretty much anywhere downtown, including the aquarium.
Restaurants close by: LaLaPalooza, Montrio, Bubba Gumps (more kid friendly)
