Weird question: UPDATE
So I know this is a little weird/gross to ask in a place like this, but the inside of my vagina has been super sore lately. I've had several UTIs in the past few months and I've noticed that it gets worse during those. I'm just getting over one right now, but all the burning during urination is gone. All that's left is a really bad soreness. It's really painful to the touch -- like when I wipe after going to the bathroom, even. Sex definitely irritates the area. Annnyway, just wondering if anyone had had this happen or knows what might be the cause. I don't feel like it's all caused by the UTIs, but what do I know?

UPDATE:
So I had an appointment with a new OB scheduled for the 19th, but it got so bad that I just couldn't handle it anymore. I was in horrible pain! My DH took me to the ER on Friday night and the doc checked me out. Apparently I have tons (like 20) of little lesions, he called them. So every time one of the cuts gets touched by anything (underwear, toilet paper, etc) it is killer. They ordered a test to make sure it's not viral, but those results won't be in until tomorrow or Tuesday. In the mean time I'm on vicodin for pain management. I guess they'll slowly heal on their own. Thanks for the help and advice!

Thanks for all the advice -- I'm still looking for an OB, but this will help me choose one quick! haha
Also, my regular doctors and urologist have told me that we can keep having sex as long as I'm on antibiotics. I'll ask the OB when I go in and see what she says.

Then you should change regular doctors. When healing from a UTI the last thing you should be doing is irritating the area. I have always been told to take a break from sex until finishing the antibiotics and on the occasions I chose not to the UTI just got worse and yes, I had to get treated with a second round of antibiotics. Just something to keep in mind...
Haha yeah he's definitely on the larger side. I had that kind of sore during the honeymoon
