Tuesday Snoozeday
Morning everyone, i just got back from Tejas and have about 82439789 hours of work to catch up on. my weekend away was great, but it is good to be back. except for the 82439789 hours of work to catch up on...and the jumpstarting of the diet again, since i likely gained 3 pounds this weekend alone.
any one have fun plans this week? how is the weather? whats the down low?

Most of my spare time is spent on Relay For Life - my event is coming up on June 11 and I'm working that like a dog. I had zero time this weekend to work on my blog. I am putting it on my calendar for Sunday. Thanks for the kick. Welcome back from Tejas!

The Flyers are aholes. I turned it off before it was over for the second game in a row. Get this *** together!
We might try to score Phillies tickets tomorrow. Flat Gracie will go of course. A friend of ours from Iowa sent us one from her daughter's third grade class. Today Flat Gracie is going to the Rocky Statue and the Philadelphia Art Museum.
I am dying to finish this book I am reading now so I can read Tina Fey's BossyPants next. lizlemon2011.
I have to get a brochure together today, along with a prospect list.
I get home last night and my effing key doesn't work. It spins around and around. I had to climb in a gaht damn window and then found out all the keys do that. So MFD has to replace the lock. Grrrrrrrrr.
The only things I did last night were run the dishwasher, two loads of laundry, pack lunch and gym bags, watch the Flyers suck, and watch 90210 and Gossip Girl.
I wish I got more sleep, but the sleep I did get was goo-oo-ood.

Tbears-Jealous of your no job today, but boo hiss on the irritation. Been there. Almost a daily occurence.
Weather should be good today, high 60s. Yesterday I scraped snow off my car in the morning, took my cardi off during my walk outside, then watched it snow at lunch, then rolled my windows down on the drive home it was so hot and put on shorts when I got home. Crazy Colorado.
Tuesday means meetings with the cute programmers. Love Tuesdays. Hope the project doesn't end anytime soon.
Leaving at 1 today to get my hair did. Thinking of going pretty short. Need to talk to my gal to see if it will make me look fatter or not, I really have no idea what hairstyle is good for my body type. But I'm already bored with the short in back, long in front. I have a wild hair up my buttt and might take it even more extreme.
Went baby shower gift shopping yesterday. I was only going to get the Boppy pillow. Also ended up w/ a pillow case, a book and a bath set. I love being a good gift giver, but I biitched the entire time to DH about how they shafted us. Le sigh. I cannot be the bigger person w/o complaining about it.
Got some new Kindle books (including Something Borrowed, thanks emilyann) and stayed up late reading. Tired me today. Sorry for the book. Please resume your normally scheduled program.
Yesterday sucked all around - I overate, was tired, and generally felt like crap. I talked to Jeff about some of it and felt better, and I'm determined to eat better and exercise today. Plus I got much more sleep last night, so I'm off to a way better start!
Speaking of books, I've been reading really long books lately so it's been taking me forever to make progress on my GoodReads goal. I like the books I'm reading (Orson Scott Card's Ender series) but I feel like after this one I need to take a break from the series and read something fast and light. Maybe the Sookie Stackhouse books, even though I was saving them for vacation in July.

I kinda wish I was still in bed or at the very least sitting on the couch watching TV/ reading a book. I guess that what I get for having 2 short weeks in a row.
I really have nothing else to add that wouldn't be complaining so I will leave it at that.
Laura, I read the Ender series a while ago, after my ex-bf turned me on to them, and they are so good! How do you like them so far? I totally want the Sookie Stackhouse series. They are always checked out at my library, so I think that's justification to buy the set from Amazon, right?
Not much going on here, just still at training. Missing H. Had an awesome dinner last night which featured gnocchi in gorgonzola sauce, which was amazing! My BFF/coworker and I scraped the bowl with the bread.
I was a big bum yesterday and I know I can't do that anymore in the next 3 weeks in order to fit into this dress. I'm also stressing about money and the fact that Jeremy turned down a job (which I understand because he really doesn't want to do that) so I'm just hoping and praying he'll get this firefighter job.
Tonight is back on the workout routine with a walk/jog/run of, hopefully, 3 miles and then some chicken and veggies for supper and reading my latest book "Sing You Home". I finished the sequel to "Something Borrowed" over the weekend and it was another good book and easy read. After this book, I think I'll go with something more challenging...any suggestions?
And I'm ready for tomorrow because it's supposed to be low 70s and not in the 90s so yay for actual spring weather.

My life has otherwise been pretty boring. H and I were going to do some stuff outside. Unfortunately, the first thing we did was hang up our hammock. Then we spent nearly the whole weekend in the hammock. Now it's all rainy.
Oh, the Bruins are up 2-0! Yay!

It feels like it should be lunch time already and it's not even 10 am yet. OY! It's going to be a loooong day!
Had to leave work early yesterday. J locked himself out of the house. I didnt mind leaving 20 minutes early though. Was a nice excuse.
Today it's cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Ok, not really, but I would love if meatballs fell from the sky!
But it is cloudy and chance of rain. Saturday is our community garage sales and J, me, and MIL are planning on going around. BUT there is curerently a 40% chance of rain. That will not make me happy. We need a new push lawn mower and J refuses to just go buy one, so our mission for saturday is to find one at a sale.
Mush - I like them a lot, I read the first and second and I'm currently on the 6th (it was written as a prequel to the second). I wasn't sure if I would like them past the first, since no one ever talks about any of the others, but I think I actually like the second (Speaker for the Dead) better.
I bought all but the most recent Sookie Stackhouse (which I thought just came out, am I crazy? I got an e-mail about it...maybe that's just the Kindle version? Or I'm insane?). I used a GC, which was the only way I could justify it - the ebooks are actually more expensive than the paperbacks.
First - good blog post. :-)
Next - That book is one of my top ones to read on GoodReads. Now I think I will read it next. Just as soon as I'm done with the Hunger Games trilogy, which I started last night. Shauni, are you on GoodReads?
Last - Good morning! Not much going on here today. I have zumba tonight, so YAY for that. Otherwise, I have 340918 billion things to complete by the end of June and no help getting them done. I need to stay off here and go kick some assss today if I hope to be done anywhere near June 30.

Last night DH and I went out for wings and beer. It was fabulous and something we haven't done for a long time. Today he has part of the day off so we are planning on getting out and enjoying the weather, hopefully by either hiking out near Lake Superior or at least going for a run then tonight a friend and I are doing Taco Tuesday at our house.
I also ordered baby shower invitations yesterday for a baby shower I am hosting for a coworker. Planning this makes me miss wedding planning...
No, it's a book description and review website. You can add friends on there and stuff to see what other people you know are reading and how they're rating the books to decide what to read next. At first I wasn't sure about it, but now I'm pretty addicted to it. I have a list of about 140 books to read. I'll probably get around to that sometime in the next 8.39 years. :-)
Good Morning. Tuesday's sucketh. We watched Black Swan last night...it was a trip. I have to give Natalie Portman major props for her role in that movie.
I have a ton of laundry to do tonight, I mean we since Rich will be helping me. I also need to start working on the invites for his 30th next month.
Shauni - The Poisonwood Bible is abfab. I loved it. I always recommend it to people.
I need to leave for the gym in 15 minutes. Treadmill today, but I have to get there.
