Good Morning!

Morning! I just noticed the yogurt I bought on Saturday and brought for breakfast expired APRIL 1. Glad I noticed before I ate it, old yogurts and I have a bad history.

Also, that hostage standoff in Roswell this morning was literally across the street from my old place, so crazy!

  • We have a walker, and we don't even have all our baby gates up yet. Indifferent Yay for Harlie crawling! AJ will be crawling before you know it! Azlyn was actually scooting around long before she started sitting up on her own.

Good morning all! I woke up at 4:30am because the codeine wore off. I took some more, and just as I was about to fall back to sleep at 6:30am when Azlyn decided to wake up. I feel like I am going to fall over. Hopefully I will be able to nap when she naps today.

    Happy Anniversary!!

Carla, there was an attempted break in at an apartment complex at GA400 and Holcomb Bridge. The 2 guys took the 3 people inside hostage for several hours, and even tried to break through the wall to get out through the next apartment. It's over now, they caught one of the guys. Crazy stuff!

  • Good morning. All the babies are growing up so fast!

    Happy anniversary Allison!

Last night we went to the gym and I gotta' say that watching tv shows on the iPad makes the time on the elliptical fly by. I swear, I love that damn gizmo more every day.

I had a little scare before I went to bed. I was sitting at my laptop reading a few blogs and kind of blacked out. It's happened a few times before and it's so scary. Basically, my vision fades, my ears pressurize and everything sounds like I'm in a tunnel, and I go into a cold sweat. I've never lost consciousness or fallen and it's over in a minute or two, but the whole episode is terrifying. I need to remember to mention it to my doctor at my next appointment.

  • good morning ladies! yay for all the mobile nestie babies =) and happy anniversary allison!
  • Faith--it literally happened overnight!   She had been scooting (mostly backwards) for weeks.  We have one baby gate up spanning 2 staircases--the joys of a townhouse.  Harlie has been sitting up on her own for about 2-3 weeks--now she's sitting up in her crib when I come in in the morning--it was kinda freaky to see a closeup of her face on the video monitor! I think a lot of babies that army crawl don't ever evolve to actual crawling, they just start walking.  Crawling is not a developmental milestone since many babies never crawl.
  • Holly--that is crazy!

    Jules-hope you feel better soon!

    Allison--Happy Anniversary!

We have Harlie's parent-teacher conference today--not sure what that's going to entail!

  • Morning, All! I'm back at work today. Wheeeeeeeee.

Mom looks pretty good, all things considered. She's agitated and just wanted me to rub her head and back this morning when I stopped in to see her. She's still a bit puffy, but the nurses are making her sit up and walk around so that'll speed up her mobility.  I'll drop by again tonight to see her too.

I get this from hypoclycemia. My syptoms are very similar. However, I also turn shock white from the blood rushing away from my head. It usually coincides with a large carb-laden meal. Its called postprandial hypotension.

Hmm.. interesting. I have no idea if I went white or not. DH didn't mention anything when I called him over as it was beginning. Then again, I'm already glow-in-the-dark pale anyway, haha. I didn't eat any carbs with my meal though (2 small pieces of chicken breast and some cheese). Afterwards, just in case it was low blood sugar related, I ate a piece of chocolate.

Since I had gone to the gym earlier, I wonder if I was dehydrated. I drank a bottle of water and a small glass of diet ginger ale, but perhaps that wasn't enough or I hadn't had enough during the day. I need to work on drinking more, especially on gym days.
