Memorial Marathon?
Did anyone on here run in it?
We went out and waited for my MIL to finish her first marathon. The weather was horrible! The poor runners looked completely miserable when they were done. They were soaking wet and shivering like crazy. MIL said it was harder than childbirth hahaha.

I don't run, but one of my coworkers ran the half marathon. He said he preferred the cold and rain to the Redbud half he ran in 95 degrees. I'm thinking about getting him one of those "13.1" stickers to put on his door. I just know I was warm and cozy in my bed while those crazy people were out running.
I ran the half. The weather did suck, but I had a lot of fun. I would totally do it over again. (And I totally took 9 minutes off my previous half marathon time, so who doesn't like that?) I was greatly impressed with the amount of spectators and volunteers who stuck it out in that weather even if they weren't racing.
I too, would prefer the cold/rain over 95 degrees. Blech. That stuff just zaps my energy completely. I didn't really mind the weather until it was over, then I was FREEZING.
