Mother's Day
What are you getting for your mom or doing for your mom for Mother's Day?
My mom lives 10 hrs away, so I can only send her something. But every year I can never think of anything creative to send her, so I often end up with flowers which I don't really want to do.
Any ideas?? TIA!

I am making a table runner for each mom for their tables. My moms is blues and whites and MIL's is browns. Havent' decided what to get my DIL for her first Mother's Day
I built my mom a bench for her garden.
Without knowing what your mom enjoys.... a gift card for a garden center, craft store, theater or restaurant, wine of the month club. If you have kids, a framed photo or scrapbook type thing.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
Since both my mom and MIL are local, we're doing brunch and dinner. Not sure who we're seeing first yet.
I'll probably do a card and maybe some flowers. My family doesn't really give gifts unless it's Christmas. DH might get something for his mom, they tend to do gifts for everything.
My Blog
My mom wanted a popover pan, I bought her two of em so she can make batches of 12.
MIL collects all things apples, got her an apple teapot on clearance somewhere a couple months ago, just need to find something small to supplement it.
We are having MIL and fam over for lunch on Sunday and Sunday night we're making my mom and fam dinner at my mom's house (she wants to stay at home).
