Selling on Craigslist

I have some baby items that I'm thinking of selling on Craigslist.  I've never sold anything on it before.  Any tips?

Re: Selling on Craigslist

  • Definitely make sure you have pics and only do cash.  It's probably common knowledge, but that was my experience selling my firm's office furniture on there.

I'd recommend putting a higher price than what you'll take for it, because I've found that people try to bargain with you just about all the time.  It's frustrating when every response you get is someone asking if you'll take x amount less than what you're asking!!  Or, note in your posting that you are firm on the price (that's what one woman did when I bought something last week, and I was fine w/o bargaining because it was a decent price).
