so, he's had pain for the last year (his surgery was last April) and just felt something wasn't right. he just had his MRI and got the results....yeah, the ligament repair went amazing and is totally healed. not so much the cartilige (sp?). it didn't heal properly and the only way to do so would be another surgery. you might remember H was unable to drive for about 12-14 weeks and was IN BED and off work for about 5 weeks.
so yeah...not something we can do again. he's really upset. he's having these flashes in his head of not being able to play wiht his son bc of the pain.
and of course, he didnt like to hear that weighing 300 lbs does not help the situation. but, i felt it needed to be said since his doctors wont say anything.
ugh.
Re: remember H's ankle surgery?
Oh no!! That really sucks that the first surgery didnt fix every thing.
I'm sure he hated hearing you say something about his weight (b/c I know I hate it when anyone says it to me), but maybe he needed to hear it.
I hope he can find some relief!
i would think! i'm not sure. and bc the doctor hasn't siad anything, H feels like that's not the issue and doesnt really want to hear it.
we've decided against surgery again for a while...it's just not in the cards right now. he's also going to get a second opinion just in case.
