Smoothie FAIL
I'm learning that I just cannot run certain errands with both the boys, and I hate it. Today, we were at the Town Center with a bunch of in and out stuff (which is a total PITA with little ones in carseats). We stopped at Smoothie King because I love them (used to work at one in Tennessee), and I bought Jeffery his own (he normally steals half of mine).
I let him pay the girl and carry his cup to the car, and he thought he was such a big boy! Then as I was holding both smoothies (and Jonathan), letting Jeffery climb into his seat, Jonathan knocked them both out of my hands and onto the ground in a complete disaster! They busted, sprayed stickiness all over my legs and Jeffery's feet, and the Infinity that was parked in the Handicapped spot next to us! The worst part was the "my puppy dog just died" look of horror on Jeffery's face!
In
the end, there was a super sweet girl that came to my rescue with some
napkins to wipe up with, and the Smoothie King girls made Jeffery
another one for free. I left a note on the car next to us because I felt so bad about the mess on their shiny black car!
Then on the way home, he bumped the straw into
his chin by accident, and it went through the bottom of the cup,
spilling the last third of smoothie into his lap, down his legs, and
onto the seat and floorboard! I've never been so happy to have leather
seats in my life! I only got him calm by offering my Chik-fil-A lemonade
instead.
