DH got a surprise baby shower at work!

DH has been in a funk lately from the wrecks and overall stress.  He was telling me the other day how no one at work appreciates him and he didnt think that they liked him enough to have a baby shower .  Well yesterday his co-workers threw him a surprise baby shower!  He came home with a trunk-load full of baby stuff!  There is a lot of pink in there, but we got a lot of great stuff like diapers, baby moniter, and general baby care stuff.  

That gave him a much needed boost in moral!

    Wow, that is so nice and such a great surprise. I can't see DH ever getting a baby shower at work. Although, we got some wonderful things from them once we had the baby.

    AWWW! What good coworkers! I'm so glad he got such a needed boost. At least he's getting all of his bad luck out of the way before the bambino arrives.

    That's so sweet! Kudos to his co-workers for showing him a little extra love, and that's awesome that you got so many useful baby things. Hopefully it'll help boost his mood and get him out of his funk before your little lady arrives.

    DH works at a small college with mostly women.  They LOVE parties and showers and cake which is why I thought it was funny that they were not going to do anything for him.  Surprise!!

    That is really sweet!

    DH works with a bunch of men at a shipyard so he didn't get a baby shower, but a couple of his co-workers' wives sent presents after DD was born.  :)
