Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

DH got a fantastic internship...
...which means he has to move to San Francisco for the summer while I have to stay in Chicago.
I am so incredibly proud of him. He was up against a ton of other people and they chose him!
Unfortunately, it means we will be apart for 2.5 months. I will go there with him Memorial day weekend to get him moved into an apartment. I'm sure I will be able to visit him a couple of times as well. It is going to be hard though. We haven't been apart for more than 10 days in about 5 years! He did tell them when he was interviewing that he has to be done by August 19th so he can be home for his first anniversary on the 22nd 
It's going to be a big adjustment, but I know it is best for him and for our future.
Thanks for reading this far. I don't really have any questions about this, mostly just letting you know what is going on. I will keep you updated on how I am coping!

Congrats to DH!!!!! Do you bot have webcams? When DH and I were dating we lived in different states and lived on skype.
Take advantage of him being in SF and visit a lot! Sex is amazing when you don't see the other person everyday!
Congratulations to DH!!! Sounds like it's a great opportunity. When you think about it, 2.5 months is a short time in your lifetime together, and the missing of one another will only make it better when he is back
