H and I both love the name Jackson (H likes Jaxon but I'm not sold on it). Anyway, would be we "those" parents if our boy's name was Jackson? Is that just opening him up to a childhood of being teased about his name? I got called Kelli Smelly (mostly by my siblings, jerks!) and I turned out ok. And really, if a race car driver can be named *** Trickle....our boy name doesn't sound so bad.
This could all be a moot point if we have a girl but it's one of those things that's on my mind.

Re: Is this a bad name?
I agree with the different spelling thing. I'm constantly telling people, Kelli with an i not a y. It is annoying.
And I just noticed the nest blocked the name Diick. Wtf!
I really like Jackson, also not a fan of spelling it with an x tho.
For your own safety you might want to take your last name out of this post at some point since these threads get archived...
I think maybe I confused things by adding the part about the different spelling. That was more just a side note than anything. I'm worried that kids will call him Jack and together with our last name will sound like jack-off. Am I just overthinking that?
I can't remember your last name at the moment, but I have the same concerns with our last name. If you think kids could refer to Jack -off then dont do it!!
My favorite boys name is Peter... Ill never use it. Our last name is always mistakenly pronounced as wiener. Peter Weiner!!!
I was called that a few times. Ha.
