AWing my new vacuum
totally geeking out over here over my new vacuum! I asked for recommendations from friends for a vacuum that would be good with pet hair (we have 2 pugs, that shed like you would not believe). We did not want to spend the money on a Dyson. After talking to friends and checking out Consumer Reports, we bought the Hoover Wind Tunnel Rewind (it was on sale at Target too for only $109 + 5% off with our Target card). LOVE this thing! It is rated #1 by CR (Dyson Animal is rated #3 and costs several hundred dollars more). I vacuumed with our old Eureka yesterday before having guests over. I just vacuumed with the new vacuum and it pulled up a TON of hair and dirt. Definitely a testament to how crappy our old vacuum was. Here's a pic of all the nasty, lol.
anyway thought I'd post here since people are always asking for vacuum recs.

We had a Dyson, and they're not worth the money, because they don't do as they say they do. They pick up great for awhile, but then there really are filters that clog and ruin it.
Our current vac is an Oreck, and so far so good!
I'm glad you found one you liked. Obviously it picked up a lot of dust and hair!
