carpet cleaning machine?
our cats barf on the carpet at least once a week and one of our dogs is getting old and starting to have accidents. of course, we have white carpet.
we've been using spot shot and sponges/paper towels but it's just not cutting it.
does anyone have a carpet cleaning machine that actually WORKS?

I have the Hoover Steam Vac and it is wonderful on my carpet. It got up almost all of the stains.
We don't have pets, but the previous owners of our house did. I can't say we found any "accidents" but it did such a good job of getting up all the dog dander that DH doesn't have any allergy problems in our house after using it.
It's way better than using a spray and rags, I can tell you that much.
I highly recommend it. I think we paid about $120 for it, and it does the trick. Just one use is cheaper than getting the carpets professionally cleaned.
