Phils tix, 5/6

Unfortunately we can't use our Phillies tickets for this Friday night. 2 tickets, section 147, seats 13 & 14. They're in the outfield but are in row 4 which is actually the front row. PM me if interested

Re: Phils tix, 5/6

  • how much?

  • 125 for the pair
  • That's a lot to be asking for tickets that are $36 at face value.

  • Just asking what we paid is all, Jen. We bought several games from a friend w/ season tickets. I don't really think it's unheard of that decent seats aren't always sold at face value?

you can get the same section/row for 44 on stub hub, so i'd try to be a little comparable.

  • As someone who does sometimes need to unload her partial season tickets, this bullshit tomfollery is starting to piss me off.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to unload tickets until right before a game, because of all of the morons who now suddenly think two $36 seats are somehow worth $125.  It is May for Christ's sake.  In the damn outfield.

So as a result, perspective buyers sit and wait, until inevitably this person tries to dump the seats for $36 four hours before game time.  Meanwhile, we all could have just listed at $50 and everyone would have won.

  • Also, I am sort of dying that your friends charged for $125 for these tickets and you actually paid that.

I'm running into this exact same thing.  Seems new this year.  Annoying.

I actually have tickets sitting on stubhub right now for Friday nights game.

I hear you but I was just trying to get back what my husb paid. We rarely go to games but he bought a couple of games to surprise me - believe me, 2 Phillies games for 250 is not my idea of money well spent. Lucky for us, they sold.

  • I also just want to point out that I purchased similar tickets last night for Saturday night's game from the actual Phillies website for $36 each

So I am just assuming you could most likely get tix for Friday night too

We do sell some of our seats on StubHub for a profit, but the ones we sell to friends are for maybe $3 over face value, mostly to cover credit card interest. I'd be beyond pissed if my friends tried to charge me that much.

Also, I'm curious as to how Row 4 is the front row? Is this one of those slanted sections?
