FI Vent - Just need to get this out

I think he may be the most annoying person on the planet right now.

I am dropping things all the time and can't really bend over to get them.  When I cuss like a sailor, he says, "What's the problem?  Chill out!" UUUUMMMMM, ICAN'TBENDOVER&YOUAREMAKINGNOEFFORTTOASSISTME?? My mom has suggested that I buy a large pair of pantyhose and tie a pillow with 10# of sugar to him and see how easy it is for him.

We have a one bedroom apartment with a den.  I let him take over the den and do whatever he wants with it - his guitars are in there, his chair is in there, etc.  We are supposed to be moving in late August.  There are broken down boxes in there, bubble wrap, and packing tape...and he's not doing ANYTHING with them.  Just keeping them there, for when he is ready to start packing.  Because, you know, it's not like he works in a furniture store and can get this stuff at anytime.  I am starting to need to nest and I can't.  We have no storage space for empty boxes and bubble wrap.

I need to scream.  Loudly.  But only for a minute.

Re: FI Vent - Just need to get this out

  • Ahhhh - I remember being pissy all the time about everything. Eat, sleep, complain! lol. Don't get me wrong, I am sure FI is definitely not helping the matters any! But feeling huge and helpless sometimes doesn't make for a very happy lady.

Maybe try talking to him about it when you are in a good mood and not when you are upset about it. I know seeing me upbeat and happy was like gold to my H, because I was a very miserable pregnant lady at times. I could ask for anything!

  • I love my husband, but bless his heart he is oblivious. I could hang a 12-foot canvas on the wall and a month later he'd say "wow, look at that."

He's not great at seeing something that needs to be done and doing it, but in fairness, neither am I. I really do have to spell it out for him sometimes.

Talk to him. Tell him what's bothering you. Tell him what you need from him.

And, if you've already done that, then I have no clue Tongue Tied
