Marietta girls - Farmer's Market
DH isn't going into work at all this Saturday (yea!!!) so we are planning on going to the Marietta Farmer's market...
- What time should we get there?
- Do we need to bring cash? I'm guessing most stands don't take debit.
- Is it stroller friendly?
- Is it dog friendly?
- Do we need to bring bags?
- What are your favorite booth/stands?
- Anything else I should know?
TIA!!!

Re: Marietta girls - Farmer's Market
Anything else I should know? It does get crowded pretty early.
what Holly said. We'll be there early to get our ATL Fresh Yogurt fix!
I also bring my Publix bags for ease of carrying lots off stuff around. I have not yet hit up the Ice Cream guy.... might have to visit him!
If the woman with the jams/jellies is there, stop and try them! We got Strawberry/Pineapple 2 weeks ago. GONE. So nummy!
I think the strollers/dogs can get hectic when it gets more crowded. A lot of the babies are at dog-eye-level so some get freaked out by the horses, I mean DOGS, some folks bring!
Call me Kat =^..^=
Yeah, I think I would wear my baby at the farmer's market. I LOL'd at Amy's post from last september about how they took Lucky to the farmer's market, and she snatched a pastry right out of a toddler's hands.
ITA! I always see the kids in the strollers covered in food and these huge unknown dogs are all up in their faces snuffling/licking them! EW EW EW! That would freak me the eff out if I was the mom!
And I'm not kidding about the horses. Some of those dogs are hip high on ME. I'm not saying big dog = scary, but if I was under 5 and could ride them.... I'd be aprehensive.
Call me Kat =^..^=
