T&P's please....
I've never shared, but since Thanksgiving weekend my mom has had circulation problems in her legs/feet. She has diabetes & her leg swelled bad that weekend while we were in Pittsburgh. She had surgery in Jan. to unblock 2 veins in her left leg & then had a tendon cut in 1 toe. Her right leg has had water blisters for a few months. Basically it's been a mess, besides doctor appts, getting her hair done (at someone's house), she's only been out in public 2 times (both for her & my dad's b-day dinners). She is very depressed....I keep trying to keep her positive, saying she needs to get better for her grandkids. (I'm an only child, so my 2 kids are her life to her) Today she's in surgery at U of M to unblock veins by her foot area this time, so we're praying this will work, since her sores have not healed since the last surgery. It's taken a toll on my dad & my aunt as well (they live west of Flint, so it's not like I can go up all the time-actually she doesn't want me to come up & she wants to keep me out of the know how for some reason). So between my mom's health & DH gone during the week, it's been a long 6 months. I even broke down over the weekend w/DH just crying, I think I never let me self cry about him leaving during the week, I knew I had to be strong for myself & the kids so I just bottled it up I guess.
