My husband grew up in Newburgh - his entire family is originally from Cornwall.

I am from the town right next to Cornwall! Half the people in my town went to Cornwall School District. I went to Monroe Woodbury.
I went to high school with a girl named Jourdan Davis...not sure about the other names.
My dad is in the "contracting world" and when he retired from the NYPD last year started his own plumbing/handyman business up here. I am sure he would probably have worked with electricians from around here (and the union) over the years.
i'm not sure that we're related to a jourdan davis - i don't remember the name of it but there is a catholic school there in cornwall that all of the davis kids went to (i.e. dh's mom and siblings) - they were pretty big into bmx and motocross as well.
it's such a small world - we're trying to make it up that way sometime this year so i'll keep you posted - perhaps we can have a get-together!
