What's Up Wednesday?!! - Grab those shades edition!

I actually had to get my sunglasses out this morning for my commute to the office. I don't care if it only lasts part of the day today, it makes me happy.
My boss brought doughnuts into the office. The word 'doughnut' never appears to be spelled correctly to me, and kinda makes me giggle obscenely. I have no idea why.
No meetings on the calendar today, so I'm hoping to get a lot done. Rounding 3rd base and onto the weekend - no plans Friday, hanging with my BFF on Saturday morning, wedding Saturday night, and still no clue what the H wants to do for his mom on Sunday.

I stayed late last night at work and got a LOT done. I'm still way behind since co-worker quit 3 weeks ago, but even when he was here, I was never "caught up". Surprisingly we haven't been too busy the past couple of days but that's always subject to change at any moment.
We haven't touched the house cleaning yet; we have a LOT of guests coming over on Saturday night for dinner. Nine adults and 7 kids. If I still have any sanity left come Sunday morning I will be happy.
Just kinda playing it by ear between work and home and stuff this week to see how much I can get done. So happy that the week is almost over though!!

Woke up with my nose running and my throat starting to hurt, doh!
Went to Krogers to get gas and tried 3 different pumps and none of them worked! I was so mad, still didnt get gas and my gas light is on, nice!
Happy Hour at Brio tonight! $5 martinis and $2.95 apps! Woo hoo
Also, my Pure Romance kit came in the mail yesterday, so I am ready to start hosting parties! Woo hoo
I am so jealous that you got to wear your sunglasses this morning. I drove through a monsoon on my way to work this morning AND I have been already to 2 meetings and I've got 2 more this afternoon and I have to drive to them and walk through big parking lots. My feet are soggy.
I am starving but forgot my fork for my lunch and I can't eat without one, it isn't a finger food kind of thing... So, I am going to run out before my next meeting and eat something. Just have to figure out what I am in the mood for. It could be McDonalds...

We're on our way to the dayton airport to go to Outer Banks for a wedding - one of four weddings that I've heard about this Saturday! Can't wait to get out of this cold! Frost advisory in May=WTF.
Accomplished about half of my to-do list during my two staycation days. Oh well - the rest will wait for me!
Had work. Then had staff appreciation day after work with food. It was nice. Today I am doing some house work and things around the house. Tonight I am working at church with a child with autism.
I was so happy to wear my sunglasses to work.
