godawful confession
I just realized my absentee ballot wasn't mailed.
I couldn't get my mail key right from my landlords for a few days after I moved ( I just got here on the 24th). Finally they changed the lock. Then I filled it out but left it in the pile I thought I would've sorted it out between them and mailed it with some other stuff but no. Instead I ran around for a week trying to put my life in order over here as far as furniture and cable etc were concerned...the cableI put it out of my mind and forgot about it.
The ballot is due today in NH.
I can't register in CA because I haven't changed over yet. I'm not technically a resident.
I'm so freaking mad at myself.

Anything you can achieve through hard work, you could also just buy.
You have a pretty good excuse but that really sucks.
In the special recall election where we got the Governator I wasn't registered. I was in college and I'd moved around a lot and I just didn't get it done. I was so so angry that I couldn't vote, esp because I wanted to cancel out Mr.P's vote. I yelled at him a lot that day. It's so frustrating.
You can still over-night it there. It has to be there by 5pm tomorrow.

Clerks may accept completed absentee ballots submitted in person until 5:00 p.m. the day before an election or until 5:00 p.m. on election day if received through the mail.
