My week is going from bad to worse. I can't wait for DH is come home on Friday!

It has been a crappy week for me too. Monday 2 of the 4 people in my office got laid off (not me, thankfully) and I'm nervous as to what that means for me going forward. We started 2011 with 5 people and now we're down to 2
SCM that is awful. You must be doing tons of extra work now too to make up for the loss.
Speaking of tons of work, I have SO MUCH to get done by tomorrow afternoon. This week has not been fun.
LadyE, I hope your little guy gets better really soon. That's a lot of things to deal with all at once. Hang in there, mommy!
SCM, I'm sorry to hear about the layoffs. It must be tough having only two of you left in the office. Were the RIFs expected? I'm a little surprised; I thought most on the Street were doing better nowadays.
Oh wow, that is a lot! I don't blame you for being nervous, but the fact that you're one of the remaining 2 must say something, right?
Rock - we were a little concerned when 1Q earnings came out and our firm was down 7%. I'm also on the research side so we're not the money makers of the firm.
LadyE - that's what I'm hoping! I mean next step would be closing our entire branch I'd think, so fingers crossed that doesn't happen...
That is nerve racking! Are they telling you anything??
I know you're not technically considered revenue-generating, but a full-service firm does need its research arm. And people do pay to read research. The question, I guess, is how core is the industry you cover to the firm's practice? Ugh, fingers crossed for you and a better Q2!
My sector is pretty core and the analyst I work with is very well ranked so that gives me a little comfort.
